Warriors Beat Thunder 122-102
Marco Belinelli scored 22 points and dished out six assists to lead the Golden State Warriors in a 122-102 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder in preseason action from ORACLE Arena.
DeMarcus Nelson had 18 points and seven helpers for the Warriors, who suspended recently re-signed guard Monta Ellis for 30 games without pay on Saturday for violating his player contract. Ellis, who signed a six-year, $66 million contract in July, underwent successful surgery on his left ankle after a moped accident just a month later -- a procedure that will sideline the 22- year-old until mid-December.
Damien Wilkins had a game-high 23 points for the Thunder, who have lost their first three games since relocating from Seattle. Kevin Durant ended with 16 points and 14 rebounds, while Russell Westbrook and Chris Wilcox had 15 points apiece.
