Portland Trail Blazers Beat Sacramento Kings 112-98
LaMarcus Aldridge scored a team-best 24 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out five assists, as Portland rolled over Sacramento, 112-98, in preseason action.Brandon Roy poured in 21 points and Rudy Fernandez compiled 16 points and four rebounds off the bench. Greg Oden scored 13 points with nine rebounds in just under 30 minutes.
Kevin Martin scored a game-high 34 points on 10-of-13 from the floor and 12- of-14 from the charity stripe, while John Salmons added 27 points with five rebounds and five assists for Sacramento.
Portland pushed out to a 27-19 lead after one period before Sacramento started to chip away in the second and third stanzas. The Blazers outscored the Kings, 32-22, in the final period to take home the double-digit win.
