Ohio University Lineman Scores Big in Lottery
An Ohio University football player scored big, a few weeks before the season started.
Bobcats offensive lineman Mike Eynon matched five numbers Tuesday to win $250,000 in the Mega Millions drawing, the Ohio Lottery announced Thursday.
After taxes, the senior will receive a check for $172,500. He plans to use some of the money to pay for his college tuition.
Eynon bought his lottery ticket from a convenience store in Athens, where he occasionally spent $1 to $5 on tickets.
