Women's College Player of the Year

The Naismith Awards, recognized as the most prestigious award in basketball in the nation, annually recognizes the top male and female college players.
Over the last 21 years, the Female College Player of the Year has recognized the top basketball player among an elite group of women. In 2004, Connecticut’s Diana Taurasi won her second consecutive Naismith Award, joining Chamique Holdsclaw, Dawn Staley and Cheryl Miller as the only females to receive back-to-back Awards. USC’s Cheryl Miller is the only player to win three consecutive Female College Player of the Year Awards.
