Frances Pomeroy Naismith Award
The Frances Pomeroy Naismith Award in named in honor of James Naismith's daughter-in-law. It was established for men in 1969 and for
women in 1984. The men's award is presented to the nation's most outstanding senior six-feet and under, while the women's version
is presented to the top senior five-foot-eight and under. The men's award is selected by a panel from the National Association of
Basketball Coaches (NABC) and the women's award is selected by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).
